Old Flavours

Outdoors. On a wooden platform lined with low walls, a space for cooking is set up. A woman is busy maintaining a fire protected from the wind by a circular metal sheet. Above the fire, a wooden structure is used to hang certain pieces of meat. A young man is turning meat over on a lattice of branches above the fire. At a plastic table, a man is cutting a piece of cooked meat. Tents are set up all around the large grassy site. Several picnic tables and chairs are also scattered. The site is bordered on one side by trees and small cottages. A young mother with her child sitting in a stroller come to observe.
