In Fabienne Théorêt's family, women have authority. Her grandmother was a leader. She knew how to listen and be heard. None of her daughters attended residential schools. They hold important positions. Fabienne's mother is an accountant at Kitcisakik Daycare. One of her aunts, Adrienne, is Chief of the community of Lac-Simon, another is a lawyer, another is a doctor.
