Living in the Right Body

Students from Kassinu Mamu Secondary School in Mashteuiatsh are working on a short film about transidentity. To make their main character as credible as possible, they interviewed Ludovic Dominique, a member of their community, and Danielle Cinq-Mars, a non-Native from the neighbouring city. Despite their age difference, both share a deep human connection: the feeling of being born in the wrong body. They hope that this work, along with the support of their friends, family and community, will help young people who feel the same learn to accept themselves and reveal their true identity.
